BIOGRAPHY

I was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario. A little town of about 100,000 that used to be two smaller towns: Port Arthur and Fort William.

My family would move a lot but settle in the Canadian Prairies, which I would later discover through the study of genealogy that some of my ancestors also settled here and some even made a name for themselves.

During my childhood I lived in Morinville and Edmonton, Alberta, but as an adult I would migrate south to Calgary, a beautiful city with a lot to offer within the city limits as well as just outside.

I always loved photography, but didn’t get serious about the idea of taking photos until I was in my early to mid twenties. The goal since then has been the same. Embrace the digital era of photography while going back to film to learn the fundamentals.
